Step 1

Fire extinguishers are discharged to empty the content and at the same time performance of the extinguisher is also checked.

Step 2

The extinguisher is completely disassembled and the cylinder is thoroughly cleaned to remove traces of content.

Step 3

A hydrostatic pressure test is then conducted at 35 bar for 2.5 minutes to find out leaks and check the strengths of welding quality.

img
Step 4

The cylinder then goes through the semi automatic powder coating process and is then baked in an oven at 200 degrees for 10 minutes. This is what enhances the durability and quality of the cylinder.

Step 5

Fire Extinguisher body and all spare parts are cleaned using air compressor to remove all the minute traces of extinguishing medium.

Step 6

Fresh extinguishing mediums, like dry chemicals, powders, gas, water or various types of foams are filled in the cylinders using a vacuum based process.

Step 7

In the next stage the discharge valve is attached to the cylinder using a torque wrench to maintain fitment accuracy. Also, all the O rings are replaced.

Step 8

Fire extinguishers are pressurized with UHP grade 99.99% pure nitrogen mixed with helium.

Step 9

The fire extinguishers go through a dual leak test process, namely, Inverted Glass Jar Leakage test in water and Mass Spectrometer Helium Leak Detection test.
